About Us
We started here because we've been there..
YAHZ Mental Health Advocacy Foundation was born out of lived experience — the kind that doesn’t show up in relocation guides or company handbooks. We know what it feels like to land in a new country full of hope, only to be quietly undone by loneliness, pressure, and the disorienting experience of not quite belonging anywhere.
That’s why we exist. To give expatriates and migrants the support we wish we had.
Our Mission
Our Vision
A world where every person who crosses a border has access to the emotional support and community they need to thrive — not just survive.
— Our Values
What We Believe In
Lived Experience First
Our programs are built by people who have navigated relocation themselves. We don’t theorize — we empathize.
Cultural Sensitivity
Accessibility
Community Over Isolation
We believe connection is medicine. Our spaces are designed to build genuine community, not just attendance.
Complementary Care
We offer peer-supported, educational, and psychosocial programming. We work alongside clinical care — connecting participants when needed.
“Connection is medicine. Community is the prescription.”
