YAHZ MENTAL HEALTH ADVOCACY FOUNDATION
Starting life in a new country is exciting — and exhausting. The pressure to adapt, perform, and appear okay can be overwhelming. At YAHZ, we believe you shouldn’t have to figure it out alone.
YAHZ Mental Health Advocacy Foundation provides psychosocial support, mental health education, and self-development programs for expatriates and migrants. We meet you where you are — emotionally, culturally, and practically. Whether you’re three weeks into a new city or three years in and still feeling out of place, this is a space where your experience makes sense.
Moving abroad brings opportunity, but it also brings:
These are real experiences — and they deserve real support.
Safe, small-group sessions where you can speak honestly, be heard, and connect with others who get it.
Our work is aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals. We serve expatriates from all backgrounds, with a particular focus on those from Africa and other underrepresented regions.
Join our next Support Circle, explore our upcoming programs, or simply reach out. There’s no pressure — just a community waiting to welcome you.
Bridging the distance within. Supporting expatriates and migrants through community, resilience, and culturally-centered support.
